Curation

I am passionate about translating insight into creative stories and bringing them into the public domain. My dynamic approach to work building stems from a desire to enable people to walk in and follow their own journey, re-contextualising topics through culture. My work as a curator spans exhibitions and programming - each is a sustained period of ciliated collaboration and learning.

Production

I thrive in the dynamic landscape of production, operating seamlessly across, exhibition, commissioning and product; transforming briefs and conceptual visions into tangible realities. Leveraging my background in Product Design and extensive knowledge of materials and manufacturing techniques, I collaborate closely with practitioners to enhance, optimise and actualise their creations.

Research

I am inspired by understanding the relationships between the human and non-human world - investigating the intricacies of designed systems, craft practices, and the use of materials in global systems. I develop collaborative material-centred, environmental research, which contributes to evolving discourses between design, ecology and culture.

This series, is inspired by fragments from an abandoned bottle factory in Jingdezhen, celebrating the legacy of the city’s evolving porcelain industry. Bottles were cast from porcelain found onsite (aged with impurities), local red clay (iron-rich) and local porcelain manufactured at last factory using local Jiangxi kaolin.
